I believe it might be safely said without debate that the most important date in the history of Supply Chain and Logistics is April 26th, 1956. This is the date that the SS Ideal-X set sail from the Port of Newark in New Jersey (USA). Five days later, when it arrived in the Port of Houston in Texas (USA), marked the beginning of a new era. click here for more

This is the second year in a row that Joseph Paris was a keynote speaker opening the Eurologistics’s Supply Chain Conference in Warsaw, Poland. With over 400 attendees, it was the largest annual event in Poland dedicated to Supply Chain. Joseph’s talk was followed by an excellent presentation from Roddy Martin who spoke about various CI models depending on the state of a company’s maturity. click here for more

During the last OpEx Society meeting in Warsaw our speaker Krzysztof Kurek from Papyrus showed us a “simple” Excel sheet that he developed himself over the years of his work as a Logistics Manager. The beauty of that solution was its simple arithmetics and common sense that saved his company lots of money in purchasing right warehouse racks and equipment. click here for more
